WWII RED ARMY USHANKA RKKA WINTER WOOL CAP

This is a WWII Russian Ushanka winter wool hat that comes with an original  enamelled Red Star badge.  Looks to be unissed. So in mint condition . 

An Ushanka is a Russian winter hat with ear-covering flaps that can be tied up to the crown of the cap, or fastened at the chin to protect the ears, jaw, and lower chin from the cold. An alternative way to wear is to bend the flaps back and tie them behind the head, which is called "ski-style".

There is no size marking but looks to be Size 58. 

There is Maker marked inside the cap but it is not legible.

The ushanka is made of natural wool cloth and has an insulated lining.
