Extremely fine example of reproduction WWII Japanese TYPE 90 Army steel helmet, complete with three pad leather liner and cotton filled pads tied inside the leather tongues. Comes with full length canvas chin tie and has the steel Imperial Japanese Army star affixed to the front.
The M1932 Helmet was the standard helmet of the Japanese military during World War II and it's pre-war invasions of Asia
The helmet was designed and put into service in 1931-32 for the Imperial Japanese Army. The design resembled a steel pot with a helmet liner and strap. It saw all the actions of the Japanese during World War II. It usually had a net mounted on it so the soldier could attach brush and other natural scenary to their helmets .
