WWI BRITISH KING EDWARD VII CORONATION MEDAL - ORIGINAL
This is a bronze Edward VII Coronation Medal, 1902. obverse features the conjoined crowned busts of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, wearing Coronation robes and facing left. The reverse bears the crowned Imperial cypher ER VII above the date of the coronation 26 June 1902. The edge is plain.
On the reverse is the crowned Imperial cypher 'ER VII' above the date of the coronation '26 June 1902'.
Received from the Royal Winnipeg Rifles Museum, Canada. The museum was selling off some of there museum’s items, to make room for more. The museum called it deaccessioning surplus museum artifacts.
The museum numbers their items for inventory purposes and you will see that there is a very small white number on this item put there by the museum. They are very easy to remove with your fingernail.
