The EE-8 field telephone has the early issue leather carrier, which was phased out before the end of WW2.
It has the U.S. Army Signal Corps markings stamped into the leather.
The EE-8 phone was the standard field telephone during the Second World War, the Korean War, and was used extensively in the Vietnam War.
