Front of buttons have a raised anchor with a ribbon around the diameter of the button. The back has the maker mark along with the date and the title: kriegsmarine.
Buttons are approx. 25.5 mm. in size. They are in good original used condition. You will not receive the buttons in the image, that is just a sampling of what we have. Some of these buttons may have small chips in them. Unfortunately you will not be able to pick the button you want.
Glass buttons were used by the Kreigsmarine in WW2 to prevent rust and corrosion along with keeping manufacturing costs down due to a shortage in metals during the war.
