An unissued WW2 Wehrmacht knitted Toque or tube scarf was a basic WWII German winter issue item.
It can be worn as a scarf or stretched to cover your neck and head, the ribbed knit allows for stretchability resulting in a nice snug fit for all head sizes.
It is a Feldgrau/ field grey colored wool blend toque sometime referred to as "Oma". The hose scarf was designed to fit snugly and to be worn under the steel helmet in the field.
