GLASS VIAL THAT HELD WAKE-UP AID PILLS FOR WEHRMACHT SOLDIERS IN WW2 - ORIGINAL 

This is an original German WW2 Pervitin glass pill bottle with original cork cap.  No pills included.  This glass bottle would have held 100 tablets.

Tablets were ,003 g. of Phenyl, methylamino-propan-hydrochlotid.

Indicated on the glass label:  Wake-up aids Caution 1 (Wachhaltemittel  Vorsiccht 1).

Developed by the Temmler Pharmaceutical Company, based in Berlin-Johannisthal

Pervitin was introduced in 1938 and marketed as a magic pill for alertness and an anti-depressive.
