GERMAN WW2 BREAD BAG MODEL 1931 BROTBEUTEL 31 WEHRMACHT HEER GREEN

Wehrmacht (Heer) bread bag Model 1931 (Brotbeutel 31).  This is an early pre-war, bag khaki grey/green in colour made of canvas.  The bread bag is re-inforced with leather parts for longer wear.  The bread bag is maker marked by the company of 'Otto Koberstein' from Landsberg a.W. 

Bread bags were widely utilized by all German military and non-military organizations, so various models and colors were produced. The bread bag was worn attached to the belt on the right side of the back.
