US WW2 M1 HELMET LINER CHINSTRAP ORIGINAL

M1 Helmet Liner Leather Chin Strap is a late war manufacture with the anchor stamping on the black steel construction buckle and  "DOT" rivet marking. ("Scovil" or "DOT" both are Scovil manufacture).

Used, but the leather is still in good condition.  Leather remains highly supple and soft.

The leather has some cracking on the surface.
