WWI US ARMY M1918 BROWN ING BARCANVAS BANDOLIER - ORIGINAL
U.S. WWI 1918 issue Browning Automatic Rifle magazine bandoleer with three pockets, each with "lift the dot" snaps designed to take two B.A.R. 20 round box magazines in each pouch (holds total 6 mags).
Made of canvas, khaki color and complete with adjustable shoulder strap.
Excellent condition with little use - over 100 years old.
The bandoleers were carried by BAR assistants, each one has three two-magazine pockets.
The bandoleers were paired left and right and have adjustable shoulder strap. They were also used for holding empty magazines.
A lot of WWI web gear was still in use in WWII, mostly used by Marines, these bandoleers were among them.
