U.S. 2ND INFANTRY DIVISION PATCH "INDIAN HEAD"

This is an original American Divisional shoulder patch for he 2nd Infantry Division.   Also known as the “Indian Head” the 2^nd Divisions motto is “Second to None”.

Formed in 1917 the 2nd Infanrty Division fought during WW2 in Normandy landing in St. Laurent on D-Day plus 2.   They continued to fight battles in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes/Alsace and Central Europe.

This division were also involved in combat during the WWI, Korean War, Iraq and Afghanistan.
