THIRD REICH REICHSPARTEITAG 1936 COMMEMORATIVE PENNANT

This Third Reich Reichspartei tag 1936 commemorative pennant is original.  

Made of fine quality double-sided red cotton material in a triangular shape.

The double sides have a swastika on one side and a finely woven multi-coloured representation of the 1936 Reichspartei Tag with three knights with swords and shields along with the German eagle with swastika.

Excellent condition and rare.

We bought it from a fellow from Germany who says the following about the pennant:

"They had been in family ownership. They are clean, not used, 100 % guarantee that they are originals from the grandfather of my wife.  He was as a teacher in a small school near Frankfurt. Because of that, the NSDAP pressured him, to become a member. So he became one, got that stuff for to wear on NSDAP meetings. But he appeared rarely, because he didn't want to participate. So the stuff stayed home. My mother-in-law placed that into her sewing material between books and other things.  So it was out of their minds. Now she is in an old people home and we clean out and empty the home, to rent it. That is when we found it."
