GERMAN RAD NATIONAL LABOUR SERVICE PIN - ORIGINAL

Third Reich/Nazi era badge/insignia in metal is original.  With the emblem/symbol of the Reichsarbeitsdienst, RAD,  the Reich/German Labour Service c. 1935–1945.  Has the  mobile swastika, spade/shovel head and two outward pointing ears (sheaths) of wheat.

The back is missing the two prongs. 

Has number 38 and A triangle mark on the back of the badge. 

The RAD or Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst) was a paramilitary organization that was meant to help with the effect of unemployment on Nazi Germany by militarizing the workforce and indoctrinating them to the Nazi ideology.  

It became the official state labour services for WW2.
