N.S.D.A.P. ORTSGRUPPE POLITICAL LEADER'S PEAKED CAP - REPRODUCTION
The Political Leader's Visor Dienstmütze (Service Cap) has a cast metal gilt spread-wing NSDAP Reichsadler (national eagle) insignia on the front, and an open cast metal gilt oak leaf wreath surrounding a metal tri-color cockade on the brown velvet band. The cockade has a small Hakenkreuz (Swastica) in the middle, only seen on these party leadership caps.
The cap has the triple light blue piping around the circumference for the Ortsgruppe level leader.
It has a gold bullion cord "chinstrap", attached to the cap by gold-washed pebbled aluminum buttons, indicating that this cap is for an Officer / Leader.
The visor peak on this cap is brown-finished "vulcanfibre", the standard material for NCOs and Officers.
The cap is lined with a white colored rayon fabric, brown leather sweatband and has a celluloid diamond stitched to the top with maker “EXTRA KLASSE”.
