SRB & STYS FABRIK GERMAN BINOCULARS DIENSTGLAS 7 X 50 - ORIGINAL 

These binoculars are German WWII and known by the German Wehrmacht as a Dienstglas. They are marked bmk (the 3 letter wartime German coding) for the maker Srb & Stys Fabrik Praziser Messinstrumente, Prague, Czechoslovakia. The blue triangle denotes the cold rating of the lubricant used inside the adjusting oculars.

There German binoculars have single eye focusing.

Optics are good and adjustments in smooth working order.

This pair does not come with a case.

Received from the Royal Winnipeg Rifles Museum, Canada.  The museum was selling off some of there museum’s items, to make room for more.  The museum called it deaccessioning surplus museum artifacts.

The museum numbers their items for inventory purposes and you will see that there is a very small white numbered sticker/or mark on this item put there by the museum.  They are very easy to remove.
