GERMAN WWII MINE MARKER FLAG WITH STEEL ROD - ORIGINAL

This German mine flag marker (Saltz Spurfahnchen) has a yellow flag with crossbones with a metal stake.  Both of these are original.

German WW2 mine flag marker is of red/brown heavy-gauge steel rod construction.

Two steel rods can also be attached to each other using the two tube like attachment holders at the top of the rod, for a second marker to be added for use in tall vegetation for easy spotting.

The triangular flags are constructed of a  tough yellow linen with Black Skull & Crossbones to signify danger. Each marker measures 20" overall.

The mine marker flags were used to mark areas of gas contaminated ground, mines and booby traps.

The German mine marker was used by German Wehrmacht Pioneers/Sappers to pin point mines so that the troops could move across the minefields before mine clearing had taken place.

You are purchasing one flag, we have 9 for sale, you will not be able to pick which flag you want.
