GERMAN WW2 MOTHERS CROSS ORDER OF HONOR DOCUMENT DATED 1939

This is an original Mothers Cross Award Certificate.  Given to Martha Junghanns. 

This decoration was conferred from 1939 until 1945, in three classes: bronze, silver, and gold, to German mothers who exhibited probity, exemplary motherhood and who conceived and raised at least four or more children in the role of a parent.  Gold Cross – 8 or more children Silver Cross – 6-7 children Bronze Cross – 4-5 children.

The document states in German:

In the name of the German people, I award Martha Junghanns, née Waldapfel, of Thalheim, the First Degree of the Order of Honor of the German Motherland.
