This is a German Reichmarschall Hermann Goring high quality officers overcoat.
Herman Goring’s overcoat is made with high quality doeskin blue wool, double breasted style, full length, greatcoat features dual, vertical, parallel, rows of six, front closure buttons with corresponding button eyelets on the left front panel and dual button eyelets on the right front panel. With a white lapel, Goring's collar tabs, and piping around the collar.
The off white wool construction collar tabs have a hand embroidered eagle, oak-leaf half-wreath all in bright gilt wire threads. The collar tab is piped also in twisted bright gilt cord.

Hermann Göring had a colourful career. Growing up with a luxurious upbringing and a highly successful education, His early achievements the German Army in WWI brought glory and attention. First as an infantry officer and Iron Cross winner, then to an ace fighter pilot, successor to von Richthofen, as commander of the of Jagdgeschwader 1 (JG I) and the award of the Blue Max.
An early member of the Nazi Party, Göring was named as Minister without portfolio in Hitler’s new government. One of his first acts as minister was to oversee the creation of the Gestapo.
