GERMAN M31 BREAD BAG STRAP BROTBEUTEL 31 HEER GREEN

This is an original German Heer M31 bread bag strap (Brotbeutelriemen).  The shoulder strap was rarely worn during the war. The strap was put to other uses like putting it around the steel helmet to hold camouflage material. Nice green coloured canvas construction breadbag strap with black leather reinforced steel friction clips to either end. 

NOTE:  This strap is missing the metal slide.

The strap is nicely marked R.Bh. Nr. 0/0267/0001. This represents the Gustav Schiele, Lederwarenfabik company in Loburg.
