This is a great quality reproduction fallschirmjäger jump smock second-pattern M40 step-in jump smock in Splinter-B camouflage print over grunmeliert.

This FJ smock comes with a pre-stitched eagle insignia, armpit vents, and belt hook holes. Leather tabs for the zippers. Zig-zag stitched under the collar and PRYM snaps.

 They were known for their daring airborne operations, particularly in the early years of the war, and were feared by Allied forces who nicknamed them the "Green Devils". 

Their most notable actions included the capture of Eben Emael and Crete.

Later in the war, they were often deployed as elite infantry in various theaters.
