GERMAN M43 EM/NCO’s DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP FIELD CAP

This is a high quality reproduction EM/NCO’s M43 Dachau Concentration Camp field cap, constructed of green wool. It is fully surrounded by fold-down side panels, scalloped at the front, providing optional ear and neck protection to the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured with two black bakelite buttons on the front right flap and left flap.

This is the “Dachau” made variant. This late war, heavily simplified variant has a few distinct details such as no back seam and the cardboard visor same as the ones made in KZ Dachau in the latter stages of the war.
