The original WW2 German Luftwaffe DD M1940 helmet shell size 62 that has been completely refurbished.
This M40 helmet comes with a single late pattern Luftwaffe decal and the National tricolor decal and has repainted Normandy camouflage 3 color paint pattern.
It also has a high quality reproduction European made M31 helmet liner size 55 and high-quality reproduction German leather chin strap.
This is an original M40/62 shell maker mark looks like a Q62, for F.W. Quist/Esslingen and we can see only part of the lot number, 146.
