CANADIAN WW2 NO.4 LEE ENFIELD REAR HAND GUARD

This is an original Canadian No. 4 Lee Enfield wood rear top handguard.  Includes the guard ferrule and spacer.  In good condition. Marked with letter P.

You receive only one rear handguard.  

The Lee-Enfield Rifle No. 4 was the standard infantry rifle used by Canadian troops during the WW2. Earlier marks had been in service with the British Army since 1895 and were to continue until 1957.

Canadian soldiers favoured the more reliable 10 round Lee-Enfields, over the Ross rifles in WW1 even picking them up on the battlefield and using them. The well-liked Lee-Enfield No. 4 was manufactured in Britain, the US, and Canada.
