CANADIAN WW2 GREY AND SIMCOE FORESTERS UNIT BELT AND BUCKLE SET

This is an original Canadian belt and belt buckle of the Grey and Simcoe Foresters who were a primary reserve Infantry Regiment.  They were based in Barrie and Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.

Initially formed in 1936 by amalgamating the two county military regiments of the Grey Regiment and the Simcoe Foresters.  Both of these regiments were authorized on the same day, September 14^th, 1866 predating even the country of Canada itself.
