CANADIAN LEE ENFIELD .303 TRAINING AMMUNITION AND STRIPPER CLIP

Canadian WW1 training ammunition and stripper clip for the Lee-Enfield .303.  Note the lack of primer.  The red-painted indentations make it easy to identify these as inert training rounds by both sight and feel.  These examples are Canadian-marked full clip of 5 inert .303 training rounds with the headstamps dated in the 1920s but have seen dates 1916, 1918, 1919, 1922, 1923. Also has Canadian C broad arrow and maker marks .

This is a non-live round used for military exercises and weapons drill when live ammunition would be inappropriate.
