SS TURKESTAN LEGION VOLUNTEER’S BEVO SLEEVE SHIELD

The Turkestan Legion was formed from Turkic volunteers.  The majority of the Turkestan Legion served on the Western Front and in occupied Yugoslavia.

This original Turkestan bevo sleeve insignia is in the form of a mosque overlaid by an inscription of “TURKISTAN”, topped by an inscription of “Biz Alla Bilen”, unmarked, measuring 67 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), in overall excellent condition.
