JAPANESE WW2 SPECIAL NAVAL LANDING FORCES (SNLF) TYPE 92 MARINE DIVISION COMBAT HELMET ORIGINAL

The Type 92 Japanese combat helmet comes complete with the first pattern cloth cover and original camouflage net. The cloth Imperial Japanese Navy anchor insignia is on the front of the cover. The shell, net, cover and liner are in excellent condition The Special Japanese Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) were the marine troops of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and were a part of the IJN Land Forces.

They saw extensive service in the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific theatre of World War 2. These are the forces that fought the USMC on Guadalcanal, Palau, and Iwo Jima.

The helmet has been completely untouched since it was brought home at the end of the war. Open to offers.
