VIETNAM WAR US MITCHEL M-1 HELMET COVER CAMOUFLAGE REVERSIBLE ORIGINAL

This US Mitchell pattern helmet camo cover is reversible, showing a green "jungle" pattern on one side and a beige-colored "Fall" or "Desert" pattern on the opposite side.

WE HAVE 3 OF THESE LEFT FROM SLIGHTLY USED TO NEW CONDITION 

The Mitchell helmet cover was worn on the M1 combat helmets in Vietnam. The Mitchell pattern camouflage helmet cover was introduced in 1959 and was issued by the U.S. Army and U.S.M.C. through the duration of the Vietnam war.

This particular camo cover dates back to 1969 and bears the following maker's markings and year of manufacture; COVER, HELMET, CAMOUFLAGE DSA-100-69-F-U992 8415 -261-6833 MPLS. SOC. F/T BLIND INC.
