WWII POLISH PARATROOPER CLUTCH BACK BADGE - ORIGINAL

Polish WWII paratrooper badge clutch back. Gold with gold wreath (Combat jump qualified). 

Has been repaired on the back . but from the front you can not see the repair and almost perfect

I heard the the value of these were 800 pounds in 2009 . Not sure how much now ?

Polish Metal Parachute Trained qualification badge with combat jump wreath

The attacking eagle badge ,diving with its talons extended was called the Znak Spadochronowy—the paratrooper’s badge. The idea for such a badge was conceived in June 1941.

This Polish Paratroopers badge was worn by parachute trained soldiers of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute brigade which was formed in 1941 and trained at Ringway Manchester and then in Upper Largo Scotland.

 Grupa Techniczna Osrodka Radio Sztabu Naczelnego Wodza w Londynie (The Technical Division of the Radio Unit of the Commander-in-Chief in London).

The GR. Techn model is thicker and has straight wings with the Brass GR Techn Screw back
