WW2 CANADIAN GREAT COAT MAKER MARKED ORIGINAL
This is an authentic WW2 overcoat worn by Canadian soldiers during World War II. Both the British and the Canadian's called this a greatcoat. It is made of heavyweight wool designed to keep soldiers warm in cold weather conditions. Coat is in unissued mint condition.
There are 6 brass buttons arranged in a double breasted fashion on the front plus a button under either collar so that the neck could be closed and the neck bridge is still present, stored on the inside of the coat. The overcoat is lined on the upper back only. The back has a belt with three buttons and there is a button on the shoulders on either side of the neck for securing the epaulettes.
This WW2 overcoat has the C broad arrow label and K605503 on it and the pocket is stamped:
