CANADIAN HIGHLAND LIGHT INFANTRY OF CANADA CAP BADGE

This badge was authorized for wear under G.O.71-1922. The regiment was mobilized on the 24th. May 1940, and embarked for the U.K. on July 20th., 1941. The regiment landed in Normandy on June 6th., 1944 as part of the 3rd. Canadian Infantry Division.

The badge is in great condition with original lugs. In 1954 the 29th Waterloo Regiment was amalgamated with The Perth Regiment to become the Highland Light Infantry of Canada.
