MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE SS ARM BAND JOHN SMITH

This unique reproductionn armband as seen on Amazon T.V. Series "The Man in the High Castle" worn by actor Rufus Sewell who plays Obergruppenfuhrer John Smith.  With both a U.S. flag and Nazi symbol on the armband.

Many of you have watched the Amazon Prime series "The Man in the High Castle". For those who didn't, it's a series based on a 1962 novel by Philip K. Dick,  that takes place in the alternative reality where the Axis Powers won the war.

The east of the USA is under German control, while the west under Japanese control. The undisputed master of the western part is SS Obergruppenführer John Smith. Original an American military officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, he joins the German side after the Nazi's nuked the capitol in Washington and the U.S. government capitulated.  John Smith joined the German in the Civil War that followed.  

Within 2 years (by 1947) the Nazis won and the peace returned to the American continent.

John Smith is later promoted to Oberst-Gruppenführer, and then to Reichsmarschall of the colony of North America (near series end becoming Reichsführer of a newly autonomous North American Reich) who is investigating the Resistance in New York.

The series starts in 1962 and follows characters whose destinies intertwine when they come into contact with newsreels and home movies that show Germany and Japan losing the war. The series title refers to the mysterious figure believed to have created the footage.
