GERMAN 1940 LUFTWAFFE DINNER KNIFE - ORIGINAL
German 1940 Luftwaffe dinner knife.
This original knife has a Luftwaffe Eagle with Swastika on the top side. The bottom is stamped Rostfrei Solingen. Rostfrei is a German word that means rust-free or stainless. It is not a maker but a type of knife made in Germany.
Handle also features W.J.S. 40 stamp which stands for the maker company - Wilhelm Jordan and was made in Solingen, Germany in 1940.
Also marked on knife is FL. U.V. which is a Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung or Airman Accomodation Adminstration stamp.
