THE HOUSE:

A two story house that is over 200 years old and stood through the D-Day landings at Omaha.  It has been fully renovated and beautifully decorated in a seaside theme, but still retaining the charm of an old French cottage.  The house is in the town of Vierville-sur-mer located two blocks from the sea and the beach at Omaha Beach.  The property is situated in the heart of the small town, near to amenities yet still  has a large,  secluded patio and backyard. 
It used to be a duplex but has been converted back into a single family home.  Was once occupied by the Germans during WW11.  Below you will see pictures and an outline of the home.

 

 

    

GROUND FLOOR

The Living Room:

 

 

  Has French door access to the backyard and patio.  Includes a 27" T.V., with a few french channels available,  a DVD player, stereo with CD player and fireplace.  Comes with many DVD movies, CD music, books, puzzles and games for your enjoyment. 

 
 

 

 
The Kitchen:
  The eat in kitchen has a large table, island, desk, full fridge with freezer, cook top and oven, microwave and coffee machine.  The kitchen is fully equipped with every needed appliance, cookware and dishes for full gourmet cooking.

Storage Area with a new washing machine and dryer.

Two sets of stairways to upper level. Three exits to outside.

Outdoors:  Access to storage cellar area.  A secluded large yard and patio area with beautiful flowers, fruit trees and plants.  An outdoor washroom including a flush toilet.  Patio furniture, table, chairs, umbrella, loungers, and BBQ.

General:  Electric heat.  Linen and cleaning services are optional.   Bus service is available 1/2 block away.  Trains are available from Paris to Bayeux and then bus service from Bayeux to Vierville.  A pay phone and post office only 1/2 block away.

 

2ND FLOOR

The Bedrooms:
    Three bedrooms and one game room

Master: Has a  king size bed, wardrobe, end tables, chairs and comes with a private sink.

2nd bedroom comes with a queen size bed, wonderful views of the garden, wardrobe, chair and end tables and a private sink.

3rd bedroom comes with a bunk bed (two single beds one on top of the other) with a chest of drawers, bookshelf and a chair.

4th bedroom is being used as a studio and game room. Comes with table and chairs.  Great place to do puzzles, play games or just to get in a quiet read.
