The home is in a beautiful and peaceful setting  located directly by the sea.
Ideal for sea-lovers or for visiting the beaches of D-Day.  Enjoying the local food is an absolute must.

Vierville sur mer is on the sea, at Omaha Beach.  Located between beautiful old Bayeux (20 km away) and the fishing village of Grandcamp Maisy only (12 km away).  It is within walking distance of the beach and boat launch, some restaurants, shop, a bar, a grocery store, the post office, a church, D-Day- museum, several bunkers and a gas station.  Within a 5 minute drive (or long walk) you can also visit St. Laurent, which has additional restaurants (4 more - 2 on the beach and one near beach and one near highway) and information booth.

Also only 1/2 hour away from great large shopping areas in the cities of Caen or Carentan. Vierville sur mer is home of the famous D-Day beach of Omaha, included in the movie Saving Private Ryan which portrayed action at Dog Green Beach exactly at the bottom of the Vierville draw.
