Hours of Operation
The National D-Day Memorial is an outdoor facility. Though open year round, it is subject to occasional winter closings because of inclement weather and seasonal systems-maintenance requirements. Visitors are urged to confirm site opening times with the Foundation during the winter months if the weather is questionable.

• Memorial Hours: Open from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM daily. Closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving Day. Openings before or after normal operating hours by special arrangement. (Additional fee)**
• Memorial Store: Open from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM daily. Closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
• Foundation Office Hours: Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM. Closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving Day; other holiday closings may occur. When in doubt, telephone to confirm opening before visiting the Foundation Office.

The National D-Day Memorial is located at the interchange of Routes 460 Bypass and 122, in the city of Bedford, between Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia. Access to Interstate 81 and 29 from Route 460 are within 20 miles of the Memorial.
